Things That Make You go Hmm....

Well,  many thanks again for all of the wonderful birthday greetings!  I am 50 years plus 1 day and I can tell you that the 1 day makes all the difference!  The 50s are fabulous! ;-)

Okay, so I have been trying to expand my sartorial horizons, so yesterday I visited the Anthropologie site to see what was new.

One thing I really loved:

The Olivia Cutout Oxfords here. I think these are so cute and fun for the spring!

And as always, I checked out the home section, which is when I came across this:

The Backyard Chicken Coop:

You can have this backyard chicken coop for $3000!!!!  I am telling you: Mr. WMM will make you this for $2000!!! ;-)  Isn't that a crazy price?

It is descriped thusly:

Philadelphia-based artisan duo Margaux and Walter Kent of Peg & Awl are nothing short of resourceful - they repurpose extraordinary antique treasures into timeless, functional pieces. A strong and stout habitat built from cypress wood reclaimed from 19th century Philadelphia buildings, this mobile chicken coop is structured with two roosts, a removable ladder and nesting box with easy access to eggs through a swinging door. Coop comfortably fits three chickens.

My version would say:

"Moncton-born Mr. WMM is nothing short of cheap and resourceful - he repurposes previous projects that his wife now hates or from previously successful projects into timeless, functional pieces.  A strong and stout habitat for chickens from 21st century wood that he bought at the local Home Depot, this mobile chicken coop is structured with two roosts, a hot tub, a screening room and a jungle room for those chickens who need to "get in the mood" before they lay eggs.  Coop comfortably fits two chickens and Elvis..."

You decide which one you would want!!

Who has $3000 for a chicken coop?  Where I live, every redneck has the same structure in the backyard!

Ahhh, gotta love it!

Have an awesome Tuesday!  Sorry to egg you on!  Stay Safe Out There!
